Hi Amy. I can discuss your issues with Harvard Collection Services and the debt from 2015. I will give you a call. Thanks, Mike
I have a medical collection account listed on my credit bureau report that I have tried to dispute that they say was from 2020 and I know for a fact that it was from 2015 because the ER that I went to they are collecting on behalf of was in another state while I was on vacation. I cannot get this entry updated or removed. Not sure if this is something you handle.

Hi Ashlie. Under the The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), debt collectors can't harass, oppress, or abuse you or anyone else they contact, including repetitious phone calls that are intended to annoy, abuse, or harass you or any person answering the phone. The FDCPA does not state how many phone calls are considered repetitious, but we can discuss the number of calls you've received and see if they are considered repetitious. Do you have a record of the number of times they've called you? If so, feel free to send it to my office at michael@agrusslawfirm.com. I will also give you a call. We will talk soon, thanks. Mike

Hi Casey. Under the FDCPA, the calls cannot be before 8am or after 9pm. Do the calls still fall under that category? Let's talk more. I will give you a call. Thanks, Mike.

Hi William. According to the law, if you tell the debt collectors to stop calling at work, they have to abide by that. If they don't, You can sue the debt collector in state or federal court for violating the FDCPA. The statutory damages are up to $1,000 for each action. In addition, you might be able to get actual damages, attorneys' fees, and court costs. I will call you or you can reach me at 312-224-4695 at a convenient time for you. Thanks, Mike.

Hi David. It is legally permissible for debt collectors to call on weekends, even if it is frustrating. When Harvard Collection Services is calling, what times are you receiving them? If you have a record of the number and times from the calls, I would be happy to review it. We can also discuss your case and see what rights you have under the law. I will be in touch, thanks. Mike

Hi Chelsea. What times are they calling you? Do you have records of when you received those calls? If so, feel free to send them over to my office at michael@agrusslawfirm.com. You may be entitled to compensation if those calls are outside of legally permissible times, which is before 8am and/or after 9pm in your time zone. I would also suggest that you get what debt they are collecting on in writing before sending any type of payments to Harvard Collection Services or any other debt collection agency. If you wish to discuss this in more detail, you can reach out to my office and in the meantime, I will give you a call. Thanks, Mike.

Memorial Hermann Emergency Center put my broken hand into a wrap, told me to go to a hand specialist. Hand specialist never told me I had to stretch my fingers while wrapped. Now my fingers are permanently curved. Deformed. Lost about 50% mobility in my non dominant hand. Lost skill in guitar playing ability, which was a form of income. Memorial Hermann, and this debt collector, keep calling for over a thousand dollars, even though I had insurance at the time of the injury!
For over a year, everyday, multiple times do I get these unwanted harassment calls..I'm disabled and have a limited minutes plan on my phone..these calls often cause my phone to run out of minutes each month..I'm getting very frustrated!

They gave me the last 4 of my social and date of birth before I confirmed it was me on the phone. I think that's very unprofessional and highly illegal
