Hi Z W. If Hauge Associates is calling you prior to 8am and/or after 9pm, they may be violating your rights under the FDCPA. Do you know of any debts that they may be calling you about? If you're unsure, you can send a debt verification request letter to them, especially since they are robocalling you and not speaking when they call. Hi Eboni. It is legal for a debt collector to contact your employer to verify your contact information and that includes verifying your employment. They are limited on what they can discuss and how many times they can call third-parties about you. You can inform them that they cannot call you at work, the law protects you from these types of calls that could put your employment in jeopardy. I think they called my employer today to verify employment. Can I stop this?

This number calls all the time. Ranges from 7 am to 7 pm. I don't pick up because it's nowhere near me and they never leave a voicemail.
