Not sure why they\'re calling
The person calling yelling and don’t even let me speak at all, he treating me to take me to court without even asking if I would do a payment plan, he didn’t want to hear me out at all and keep hanging up the phone at me.
Anytime fitness was supposed to close my account and they have not done it, I already have financial issues right now and I don’t need this from a simple gym membership, how can you help me with this?
A guy just called me from this number stating Everybody Fitness was taking my \"ASS\" to court and hung up on me. I then called him back and said that I do not appreciate someone of professional standard calling cussing at me and hanging up to which he hung up on me again. I then called a second time and he began screaming the same thing at me saying they are taking my ass to court. I WILL NOT TOLERATE SUCH BEHAVIOR FROM ANYONE AT ALL! I do not care if I have something that needs paid. They will not see a dime from me when I\'m being harassed especially by someone who is supposed to be a professional! Good luck staying in business with a guy like that making your calls! What an embarrassment on your part, and what a joke to be working with you!
The man calling me was extreme hostile and verbally threatened me. He did not give me his name/information or who he was apart of. Repeatedly told me if I did not pay I would go to court and receive thousands of dollars of legal fees. If I hung up the phone I was going to get prosecuted. I have not received any alert or call about an overdue balance and had been with the gym in 2021. I would love some justice against this bully and would like to take him to court.

Hi Kyle. Debt collectors like to bully consumers in hopes that you'll pay up without question. I would be happy to listen to your recordings from dealing with Internal Credit Systems about your gym membership. You can send that over to my office email of michael@agrusslawfirm.com. I will then be in touch to discuss what your next steps should be. Thanks, Mike
I moved to Phoenix AZ and apparently didn’t cancel my gym membership properly and my card for the final payment didn’t go through. So I get a call at 7am from someone who claimed they were a lawyer working for the gym and said I owed some ridiculous amount of money and I had to pay or they would sue. I was woken up by the call so I couldn’t write any information down and they were extremely rude so I thought it was a scam. I looked online and found out that it wasn’t a scam and that they are notorious for harassment. I downloaded a call recording app and when he called the next time I told him I was using it and he said this was a final warning and hung up, wouldn’t give me any information.

Hi Joshua. You're right, it isn't right to speak to anyone like that and if they did so, they may have violated your girlfriends rights. I would be happy to speak with you about the law and your options in dealing with this. I will reach out to you or you can contact me sooner at 888 572 0176. Thanks, Mike
The guy call today and was extremely rude and was yelling on the phone to my girlfriend saying we owe 1300 dollars in gym fees and that they were going to add another 2000 dollars. My girlfriend told the guy we didn’t have 1300 dollars right now and he said you need to get a job but she’s on maternity leave from work we had a baby a week ago. This is so crazy the way he talks to people and unacceptable.

Hi Ashley. Why is Internal Credit Systems calling your son? Under the FDCPA, they cannot call and harass your child, however they can contact your child if their name is on a debt that also includes your own. You have resources available in dealing with this, and you may be able to hold Internal Credit Systems accountable for violating your child's rights. Let's talk more about this when I give you a call. Thanks, Mike

Hi Robert. Some debt collectors aren't known for their sweet demeanor and good customer service, unfortunately. Under the law, they cannot threaten you or harass you and if they do so, they could be violating your rights and you could be entitled to compensation. I would like to speak with you more about your situation and we can determine your next steps. I will give you a call to discuss this. Thanks, Mike

Hi Tim. Fitness Clubs are notorious for this type of behavior and I can understand being confused and paying without verification of the debt. I can also being worried about future payments being requested. I would be happy to speak with you about this and determine what options you have. I will give you a call. Thanks, Mike
I had a card switch over from a Fitness Club I was a member of, but no was no longer attending. They kept trying to charge me, eventually it led to a very rude call from ICS, with a threat to be taken to court. Not know the reputation of ICS, I payed.
I am now worried about how my credit is affected and if they will try to extract more payment.
I was contacted they were extremely rude called me names threatened lawsuit . Over 15
Some man just called me at 9:50am from phone number and a man said I owe over $300 to Chicago Health and Fitness in Hobart Indiana. He did not state where exactly he was calling from, he instead uttered some law-firm that I couldn't properly hear. I asked how the bill got so high, he then became very rude and said If I don't pay it, then it will go to court. I asked for his full name, he said, "I'll see you in court," then he hung up. I called the same number back at 9:57am and asked for this Company, he then said, "It don't work that way," and hung up. This employee violated the FDCPA regulations by threatening me with court, and by not disclosing his agency before discussing the debt with me, and by not even verifying who I was before discussing the debt with me. This employee was trying to intimidate me in a very aggressive manner and I will also be submitting a complaint to the FTC.

Some just called me at 9:50am from phone number and a man said I owe $300, threatened me with a lawsuit, then I asked for his name, he hung up and said "See you in court." I called back at 9:57am and asked for the name of the company, the same man said, "It doesn't work that way" and hung up. Under the FDCPA, This employee broke a law by threatening me with Court. This employee also broke the law by not stating what agency he was with before discussing my supposed debt. I will be following up with the the Better Business Bureau.
I got a call from the people of anytime fitness saying saying they need a full payment of 800 when they've been taking money from my dad, I dont really know what's going on they said I will have court today
I received a voicemail from internal credit systems. I called them back and the man on the phone was very rude. I explained to him that I missed a call from this number. He told me that I had a debt and I should pay it off right now. I asked him if this company was a debt collection agency, he said yes. I asked him then why he didn’t explain to me that it was an attempt to collect a debt.. the normal thing debt collectors say. He said that he can say what ever he wants. He said that the lawyer told him to contact me in regards to my debt. I asked him to have his lawyer call me about the questions that he has. He told me to have my mother call him since it seems like I’m a baby and then hung up on me. I called the original debt company to see if this is who they sold the debt to, which they said it was. I called him back and asked to speak to someone other than him, due to him wanting to speak to my mother and being very rude. He told me that he was the head and there was no one else. He continued to tell me about my debt that I had, which I had no idea which debt it was. I then again asked him why he didn’t say the normal thing to say when debt collectors called and he said he can say what ever he wants. I asked him why he was being so rude, he said I started off being rude since I asked to speak to his lawyer. I asked him then what the debt was for, he said it was for a gym membership (not telling me which one) then, asked for my name to tell me what the pay off was. So, I gave him my name. He did not verify me as the person owning the debt. I know this man who owns this company has done things wrong speaking to me about my debt. Just would like some ramifications done so he doesn’t take advantage of others.
This gentlemen called my daughter and was extremely rude. He resorted to name calling and threats of court action. I called him back and he wouldn't tell me who he was. He would not identify himself. He continued on with saying "she doesn't need her mommy calling for her". Who runs a business this way?
Internal Credit Systems keeps calling and threatening me as well as using harassing and terrible language. I've blocked their number but am worried they'll call on another number.
Keep getting threatening voicemails. I have them saved. Probably from my gym membership.
You people just called me and harassed me about an anytime fitness bill that I already paid literally calling me a loser and say I need to get my life together, while on speaker phone at work. If you call me again, I’ll file harassment.
man named ted contacting my minor child with threats and harrassment. i told this man my son is a minor not to contact him again. he is still contacting him.
yes they called and harassed me. They called saying they will take me to court if I don't pay right now the gym late payment and they requested right away a big payment of $483. I called my anytime fitness gym and they said there is nothing like that and I only have a balance of $99 and they would never have a collection agency threaten its customers like that. They even hanged up the phone on me and said they need the payment right now or they will make it go sky high like a direct threat. I need to sue them and get compensation for this harrassment
