Last Wednesday I had a phone call from Jefferson capital systems. I stopped them during their conversation and told him I could not talk at this point. They are trying to mention my debt was old and they couldn’t sue. That was the only thing I heard then I hung up immediately..
This is the first time they called me.
How can we stop them? I don’t want them to go into my bank account.

I get calls from jefferson capital every single day, multiple times a day and it has been in the early AM and late at night, sometimes past 9pm.

They try to call me at least 7 times a day. Got to a point where I had to enable Silence Unknown Callers. I mean hell, they never left a voicemail for the first 500 attempts, so they ain’t one bit important.

I just happened to be looking up a number that has called my phone and your law firm popped up. There really isn't a situation I don't guess. I have several different numbers calling my phone all day every day so I'm skeptical about answering them. I usually look at the numbers up and when I did a google search your firm came up. I was just trying to see what it was about. It may be nothing but I do get annoyed with all these unsolicited phone calls I receive daily!

This number has called me several times asking for my Aunt. I keep telling them they have the wrong #. Then the next day they will either call for me or my sister. I tell them to stop calling but they never listen.

This number keeps calling me, rarely leaves a message and won't say who they're even calling for. They wanted a lot of information from me to tell me before telling me why they were even calling, and then it still wasn't clear. Many times they just call and hang up. When I try and answer, sometimes they still hang up. Odd.

They call my work cell phone everyday around the same time and have called everyday for about three weeks now. The keep asking for a Carolee and every time I tell them that I am not her nor do I know a Carolee they tell me they have the wrong number yet call again the next day asking for the same person. It is getting quite ridiculous considering this phone number was provided though my place of business and not even a personal account.

This number has contacted me several times a day for months. I have answered, told them to send me documentation of any debt. That if I owe anyone it will be taken care of. And add me to their do not call list. They have continued to call, never leave a message when i can't answer, have not sent anything in writing. In an attempt to not have to constantly clear them from my voicemail, I pick up every single time I can, repeatedly telling them, "do not call back" and hanging up. Today I just gave up and had to add them to my block list. Knowing that I will have to continue to soft through dishonorable companies like this, to get to potentially important messages I may have missed. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from any company. The fact that this company remains active and still has the ability to harass thousands of individuals constantly, says to me that our law enforcement agencies and government continue to insist we pay for their services, while continuing to not provide any.

I am on disability, and received my back payments. I am being sued and harassed by collectors, although Capitol One dropped their suit when the realized there could be no recovery!

I have had several calls and letters from this company.I asked them to stop and they continue to harass me .I had a debt with a company but settled it about 5 years ago perhaps longer .This company closed its doors and sold its debt to Jefferson capital.
