I've been getting phone calls from this bank saying for call for Jodi. I've had this number restricted so I didn't know where it's from so I never answered it. But I've listened to one of the voice mails today. And to inform you that you have the wrong person number.
This phone number continues to call and leave voicemails looking for someone with a different name. I do not want to answer or return their call for fear of a scam, however I want to make sure they can either reach who they are looking for or stop calling. Thanks in advance for your help!
These people call at all hours with no caller ID. I don't even owe Comenity Bank any money! They called my mother this morning and left a threatening message for me. She was very upset.
I've been getting threatening calls from Comenity Bank. They're telling me that if I don't call back the situation will escalate and they will contact a Lawyer. It's very intimidating and I'm afraid to call them back.

I keep getting phone calls from the commenity capital bank and have even had them contact family members. I don't know what it's for because I have never returned their calls!

I have a legal question about a number calling and talking about. Is there anyway I can call someone and talk to them it's a lot to text. It is someone calling saying they have had something reach their office and he needs to have a lawyer call them. They call my cell from blocked numbers so it shows "No caller ID", they call my cell and my parents number from the 8553344198 number. I just googled the number 8553344198 necause my cousin who lives in Florida just received a very angry voicemail from an agent that was directed to me. I am pretty sure they have been calling me multiples times a day from local numbers and not leaving a message!

I am receiving 8-10 calls daily, including weekends from Commenity Bank. I have informed them of my financial situation, and they relentlessly call and fill my voicemail with messages. It is making me anxious. I have intentions of settling my debt when I am able to. One of the call center representatives was very impolite and hung up on me when I got frustrated during a 40 minute call with them.

They have been calling me for a couple weeks now. Starting at about 5am to 8-9pm. They call so many times. They re now calling me from unknown or restricted numbers. They are now leaving me threatening messages. They aren’t even saying the name of the bank correctly. I was informed recently they possibly aren’t allowed to leave messages like this. I have been working with my actual credit card company and I am in a program and paying. There is no reason for this harassment. I have a severe illness and am on disability. They said they are from Commenity bank and that I need to have my attorney call them, and if I do not have one I better call them back ASAP. Comenity Bank keeps calling me and my husband and I have worked payment plans out with them already. The continue to call anyway and the payment plans they worked out with me are not fixing my accounts the way they told me they would. I did everything they told me, I made the payments, my accounts were supposed to become current and they didn't. It is in the records at their office!

My husband has a card with commenity bank for the Childrens place. I don't deny we owe them money however until recently i was out of work due to health issues and i explained to them we could not make payments for a few months. I recently started working again and this last week have been getting calls several times a day from an unknown number and until this afternoon while i was at work, there was no message left. Then today the person leaves a 1 minute 13 second message stating Mr. Seer is leaving a documented message and if we don't contact him by 5 pm pacific time, then he will have no choice but to assume we plan on never paying the amount owed which is around 250 dollars and that he will recommend that the company will proceed forward if we dont contact him at 18553344197 extenstion 1276292.
I did not even get off work until just now and it is 5 pm pacific time as we are in the midwest and its 4 pm our time.
We have never even gotten anything in the mail for the last month or so from the childrens place line for a statement or bill.

This number 855-334-4198 calls me about 10 times a day usually private but then they leave a harassing message about I better get a lawyer if I don't already have one.
Calling multiple times of the day plus leaving scary and threatening messages about getting a lawyer to resolve this escalating matter.
(Called a business phone)someone called for this number for a Mrs Felicia West from a Mrs McCoy x1226101 left a voice mail I called back to let them know they had the wrong number and have no idea who the Man that answered the phone was but he was nasty would not send me to the extension to let the lady know she had called the wrong number. I too am a collector and I never am rude to anyone I talk to. this upset me very much. This was one of the nasty individuals I have dealt with in many years. I just didn't want them to think the lady was dodging their calls. Gosh, I am still shock and upset over this call.
Commenity Bank has been not only calling me 4x a day, but also contacting my ExHusband 3x a day (I have been divorced 10 years!)

I owe Express, however, I spoke with them and recently informed them I would be unable to pay until the end of the month. Despite this, they contacted my mother in law - I am not sure how they obtained her number (as she is not listed on any of my records). Hi Jeffre, If you do not owe the debt, answer the next call, and tell Comenity to stop calling. If the calls continue, and the calls are robocalls, you may have a case under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). I will explain the TCPA to you further on the phone. Thanks, Mike.
Hi Molly, Comenity should not be calling you 5-10 times a day telling you you need a lawyer. I can stop this harassment immediately. Depending on what state you live you, you may be able to sue Comenity for harassment and threats of legal action. For example, if you live in California, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, or other states, you may be able to pursue a state-based debt collection harassment case against Comenity. They called a few months back and talked her into giving them almost three hundred at one time out of her checking account. She lives on a social security income and that really put a damper on her other living expenses . Now they are saying she owes another nine hundred dollars

They call from several different numbers several times a day. I am interested in resolving the mater but clearly not with someone who thinks its OK to harass.
These people called my elderly grandma who has early stages of dementia but had just taken another phone message with details regarding my gpa (she didn't miss a single detail - so I know she was having a good day). Anyways, they threatened her by telling her that I needed to contact them or have my attorney contact them. I called them this morning and gave them my info. (everything but my social - I don't give that out to people who threaten my grandmother) they had nothing on me. I didn't want to give them my grandmother's house phone number because I don't want them to call again. This should be illegal.

I have been receiving unending all day calls from "Unknown Caller", never leaving a message. Today they FINALLY left a message and number saying how much trouble I'm in for never returning calls.....I'd like to know how I could do that when there's no number or message left?
They keep calling and leaving aggressive voicemails with no specific detail whatsoever but my name. My wife was actually nervous because they called her phone and left the same voicemails on her cell.

I received a message today looking for mitch... assuming a debt collector. The person was Mrs. Phillips and the number is 855-585-8851 ext. 1275020. I received one a few weeks ago from a ms. Hartman. The number for that is 855-334-4198 ext 122630.
Hi Kayla, was the threatening voicemail message pre-recorded? Or, maybe the message you received from Comenity was cutoff at the beginning or the end? These are tell-tale signs that the message is pre-recorded. If you have these messages on your cell phone, you may have a TCPA case against Comenity. Hi Britney, it sounds like Comenity is making robocalls to you. There's a federal law to protect you from these robocalls. It's called the Telephone Consumer Protection Act ("TCPA"). Robocalls are those annoying, automated, recorded calls that a computer makes to you all day long. You can tell it’s a robocall because either no one is on the other end of the line or there’s a delay when you pick up the phone before a live person comes on the line. Hi Laura, you and your sister have rights under the law. I agree with you that Comenity should not be calling your sister, especially on her cell phone. There's a federal law that protects people like you and your sister from robocalls from companies like Comenity. Several states also have rights to protect consumers from first-party creditors, like Comenity. For example, if you live in California, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan, Montana, or Pennsylvania you may be able to tack on a state-law claim with your federal law claim above. North Carolina, for example, has one of the most consumer-friendly statutes in the country. I just got a text message from my sister that they're now calling her asking for me. I have never given out my sister's name and phone number for anything that deals with my debt. I have two accounts with Comenity Bank - that are not even close to being charged off. I received a very threatening voicemail from a customer service representative today - being that I used to work in third party collections - I understand that first party collections can be a little different. But no company name was given, only that I need to contact her today in regards to a personal business matter before she makes a decision that will effect me. She also stated that this call is recorded, for documentation that I got notification of the important matter. My voicemail is a generic voicemail - and automated.
