Debt including loan through MaxLend was filed under Chapter 7 bankruptcy since 2023. The calls stopped for a while and now they call from +1 (262) 546-8598 everyday. They were told about the bankruptcy when I filed. Is there anything I can do?

Hi Doris. No debt collector is permitted to threaten legal action or harass you. If Maxlend is doing that, they are likely violating your rights. You have the right to find out why they are calling and you have the right to make them stop. I can help you with both of these things--give me a call at 888 572 0176. I would be happy to speak with you about your identity theft and the calls you're getting from Maxlend. Our initial consultation will be completely free with no-obligation, so you have nothing to lose. 888 572 0176 Thanks, Mike

Hi Richard. Have you contacted the police about the identity theft? That is where you should start. You should also alert the credit reporting bureaus that you are the victim of identity theft and that you want fraud alerts placed on your name as well as a security freeze. You will also need to contact the FTC, they will help you to prove that you were the victim of identity theft. There are also other steps to take, including letting the IRS know, reaching out to the DMV, and even alerting your medical insurance providers. I can help you with these, give me a call at 888 572 0176. Thanks, Mike
