Hi Susan. Debt collectors and creditors will often call during the grace period as they are now using software that gauges your chances of defaulting on your mortgage or other type of loan. Essentially, these types of programs show lenders which consumers may have some "red flags", such as chances of not paying on time, consistently paying during the grace period, having a dropping credit score, and/or rising debts on other credit, to name a few. I would be happy to speak with you about this in more detail--give me a call and we can chat. Thanks, Mike
I received my first text message from this phone number today. I do have a home mortgage loan with Mr. Cooper, but I always pay within the 15 day grace period, and no payment has been late in my over 20 years of having a home loan - the last 10 years with Mr. Cooper! Why are they "trying to collect a debt?"
Thank you!

Calling me about mortgage before it's due
I get daily calls from Nationstar, but our mortgage is through Mr. Cooper. I'm not sure why they are calling- our mortgage payments are up to date.
I am attempting to do a short sale on my property, which they are aware of because they are making me do a loan modification first and they still contact me almost every single day.
Nationstar Mortgage calls my work number and my cell phone constantly! Unfortunately, my mortgage was sold to them from my previous lender. I have told them I was going to be making my mortgage payment late, and to stop calling me. They obviously didn't listen. I really would appreciate if someone could contact me, and put a stop to these calls, and hopefully be compensated for my inconvenience.
Mr. Cooper calls as early as 6:00 am and as late as 12 midnight.
Constantly getting calls from Lender. No answers, staticky calls, all times of the day. Some calls are back to back.
Mortgage is not past due yet they call nonstop even when payment is pending.
We have made payment arrangements and we get calls daily, sometimes multiple times. If I do happen to answer, it's a recording and that's it. On voicemails, it's always just a minute worth of static OR the tail end of a message that's legit 2 seconds long and the recording just says "thank you". When I HAVE called to speak to someone, my wait times are insane AND the customer service is super rude. They also don't acknowledge any case notes. They have also sent a creepy man over to our home at 8am on a Sunday, peeking in our windows..and said he was sent to have me call Mr. Cooper! He was about to get the dogs released. That's HIGHLY inappropriate when we were only a matter of DAYS late! Scared myself and my 2 girls. I've never had something like that happen, and this is a new mortgage! We didn't even ask to be sent to Mr. Cooper. We bought our home in August, and before our first payment was made, we got a letter stating it was being turned over to Mr. Cooper. Had we known how horrible these people were, we would have declined! Worst mortgage company we have ever had to deal with. They call our jobs, our cell phone, etc...
We're not sure we have a case. Our mortgage is up to date on a rental property. These guys keep pestering us to refinance, which is a crappy deal. I'm a certified paralegal with 30 years experience, and tired of the BS. Send an E-mail if you can make them pay us for wasting our time. Thanks for your time and attention!
I do have a Nationstar Mortgage account or now called Mr. Cooper. It doesn't matter if you are up to date or not, they start calling before you have a payment due. They have told me on the phone before that you are not overdue until the 20th of the month, but they'll be calling you everyday until then. Call and hang up, they don't leave messages. It's annoying when they're calling you're cell phone daily, usually Sunday is a break!
I have a mortgage and made payment arrangements and they still keep calling. :(
Only when I answer he says hello? Hello? And hangs up. Like he can't hear me. He did this on my cell AND my work phone!
I filed my UCC 11 and submitted it to the credit bureaus to validate.
Both Trans Union and Equifax removed NationStar from my report.
I have a Nationstar Mortgage, I have had issues in the past with payments but it is up to date (not 30 days past due). I pay between the 1st and 20th and they start calling on the 2nd if I haven't paid, even if I have it scheduled. I scheduled a payment earlier this month and yet the phone call just happened. No need to contact as I am not necessarily seeking anything. I am just happy to serve as a data point for other people being harassed by robocalls.
I was divorced in 2014. My ex has the house. Unfortunately I'm still on the mortgage. I've explained this to Nationstar, but they keep calling and calling!
