I have been receiving statements and calls from this place, for a supposed medical bill I owe, which I never received a statement from the clinic I went to.

Hello,
My wife and I are under a lot of financial stress right now due to medical bills/medical collections, and now we just received a phone call recently from a credit card company trying to collect on a card that was charged off years ago (we tried settling it then with the bank but they had told us at that time that they did not have access to the account). We have tried telling the medical people we cannot afford such expensive payments, and we absolutely do not understand why the credit card company would try to collect on a card from us that hasn’t contacted us about that account in like 4-5 years. I’m not sure if there’s anything we can do about either of those things, we’re not sure which direction to go or if legal representation would help but we’re worried that would cost us money too. At this point though we really don’t know how to better navigate the situation. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Mitchel Wenner.

They call me non stop. They claim I have a debt that I do not. I have never opted in to this type of call and receive about 5 a day.
