Yesterday I received a call from 800-599-2335. I didn't answer and a voicemail was left. Before I listened to the voicemail I googled the number and your firm popped up about Springleaf Financial. I had never heard of Springleaf so I listened to the voicemail and it said that he was calling from One Main Financial. I have been having issues with One Main since March 31, 2020. I sent a letter to the branch I was dealing with on that date informing them that there would not be sufficient funds in my account (from which they withdrew my monthly payments) for the April 15 withdrawal. I explained that because of the pandemic and the shutdowns and that I am an attorney and the closure of the courthouses effectively was cutting off my income. I asked for an indefinite deferral on my account. I believe it was about 2 months later that I received a call from "Dave" from that branch. Whenever they call they never give a last name. Dave asked what was going on with my account. I told him that I sent a letter dated March 31. He responded that they never got it because the office was closed and everyone was working remotely. They made no arrangements to get their mail? At any rate I made a deferral payment through Dave and perhaps another one or two after that. Dave also told me that they had to use skip tracing to get my phone number because the phone number I put on my application was incorrect. I said that could not be since it is the same cell phone number I have had for almost 20 years. I have an online account with One Main but I never really went on it. But I did at that time. They had the completely wrong address to where they were sending my monthly statements. Wrong phone number too. Dave had already told me that they could not access my online account. I printed the incorrect info they had on my online account and called Dave about it. He said there was no way that could happen. Several days later he called me back and wouldn't you know it --- the person to whom they were sending my monthly statements has an SSN that was only one number off from mine and there was a glitch in the system. Don't know how that happened because they used to send monthly statements to me. It gets worse but I think it would be more effective if someone from your office calls me or provides an email address so that I can scan documents to you, especially a memo that I prepared regarding a conversation I had with a representative in a One Main Branch that is closer to my house. I have gotten 20 calls in less than 2 weeks. No voicemail is ever left. Incredibly annoying especially when i am at work.

It’s One Main Financial (formally Springleaf Financial). When my debt was early on I tried calling them back (Apopka location). Placed on hold for hours before I would just hang up. I was a thousand dollars early in paying for over a year then fell ill. Lost my job because I exceeded FMLA 12 week off allowance. Then had to have two surgeries. Lost our home. I’m still not back to work and have zero money coming in. I can’t even afford to feed my kid. We went on temporary welfare until I can get a job and back to work. Despite my circumstances, they keep calling. I can’t crap money I don’t have. Sorry One Main. Nothing I can do for you, as I don’t even have a home at this time. Are your CEO’s still in their homes and feeding their families without my $183 coming in a month? Then count your graces. I’ve done the accounting and I borrowed $5,000. Paid $183 before due date every month for over two years. Then still paid you a lump sum of $1,000 when I got my tax return the first year. So let’s add that up. $183 x 24= $4,392 plus the $1,000 lump payment equals $5,392. As far as I’m concerned you have been paid in full, and then some. Granted the extra $392 you received doesn’t cover the exorbitant amount of interest per month you charged and I agreed to out of necessity, but you did get your return investment back plus almost $400. Put me in the win category and move on. Stop harassing me with multiple calls, VM messages, and letters in the mail every day. I am UNABLE to help you.
