Exceptional Experience

Mike Bertucci handled my case professionally and successfully. Lakisha Joshua took time to understand my case with the utmost patience. Both Mike and Lakisha, in my opinion, are true assets to America’s Consumer Lawyer.

My name is Ed Bedford, and I am seeking your assistance regarding what I believe are predatory and extortionate lending and collection practices by Bridgecrest, the auto loan company that financed my vehicle. Background Vehicle purchase price: $19,000 Loan amount financed through Bridgecrest: $24,000 Amount I have already paid: $25,000 Current payoff amount Bridgecrest still demands: $18,000 This means that for a $19,000 vehicle, I have already paid more than the original loan amount, yet Bridgecrest insists I still owe an additional $18,000—bringing the total to over $43,000 for a car that was originally $19,000. Issues of Concern 1. Excessive and Unjust Enrichment – Despite already paying the equivalent of the financed amount, Bridgecrest continues to demand more money than the vehicle was ever worth. 2. Predatory Loan Structure – The financing terms appear intentionally structured to keep borrowers trapped in a cycle of debt where payments do not meaningfully reduce principal. 3. Coercive Collection Tactics – Bridgecrest threatens repossession, lawsuits, wage garnishment, and long-term credit ruin unless I pay these unreasonable amounts. 4. Disproportionate Harm – Their approach results in borrowers paying more than double the value of the vehicle, which I believe is unconscionable and abusive under consumer protection standards. Why I Believe This is Predatory This situation demonstrates a model designed to extract money far in excess of the original obligation, not to provide a fair pathway to ownership. Their practices amount to financial entrapment and economic coercion. Request for Assistance I am seeking your guidance on: Evaluating whether these practices constitute predatory lending, usury, or violations of consumer protection law. Determining if I have grounds for legal recourse, including potential claims for unfair debt collection or breach of fair lending standards. Exploring possible remedies, whether through litigation, settlement, or regulatory complaint. I can provide full payment records, loan documentation, and all correspondence with Bridgecrest for your review. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your advice on next steps. Sincerely, Ed Bedford

I\'m just trying to figure out if the company behind the 1888 800 2527 number is legit it sounded like it when I talked to them they were talking over my one main financial loan account and would be making payments to them.. But at 40 percent of the actually loan ammount like some deal they give u. So my new balance is suppose to be around 2400. Six payments of 404 per month but I\'ve done two payments of 202 I was doing 202 every 2 weeks.. Anyways I\'ve done 2 payments so far 202 each and they do show up on my one main financial account so they are connected with my account but my balance is still the original one at over 5000... They didn\'t give me any new website or any link to go check my account through them. They did says I can call and check up on my balance.. Sooo today Sunday I called that number and a automated voice said due to situations outside our control we cannot receive your call please try again later...
