I have a couple of loans and credit cards which got behind due to my having to have emergency tooth surgery in November 2021. It was a $5k expense and I had no savings because I am a twice widowed mother living on one income with no help. I work for the St of IL IDES. I attempted and did make a couple of payments and have kept in contact with all of them and had a perfect pay history until then. They refused to work with me and after 60-120 days late shut all credit cards down at their request which of course plummeted my credit score, this was done not by one but all creditors, no one even contacted me first, it was Wayfair $1300, Kohl’s $2400 and two cards with Synchrony Bank Care Credit $1000 and Home cards$1000. Then continued to report negatively in my reports to mess me up further. On top of this I had two small loans Heights Finance $3100 and Mariner Finance $7000 which are higher interest 36% only because my score was low so no bank would help me and this was due to the fact that I rarely use credit. Heights had a promise to pay but then charged the account off a day before I got there to pay on the day I promised and though I have tools them I am still going to pay it off, one regular payment this month then the balance I am giving them three checks to hold and cash one per month to pay in full, they are being smart mouths and call and leave messages and refuse to call between 12-1pm as I requested during my lunch so I can talk. I am going to be paying Mariner large payments starting this month to get caught up. I can not get a debt consolidation loan due to my score! I also work all the OT I can to help pay all down. My score is now 560. I need someone to help me with this as I was going to buy a house to get out from under the high rent after these and my car were paid off now my credit is ruined and they will not help! Would you work on contingency and help me?

I have 3 Synchrony Bank Cards and all my payments are made before the due date. The number I'm told to call is not familiar. Also, I'm given another # 8448302149 with an http address to make payments. That happens 3 to 4 times a week

Hi Jamie. Have you asked Synchrony Bank to stop calling? Have they provided you with written proof of the debt and associated fees? I would suggest you ask for that first. They call several times a day every day yet when I went to the website to start a chat - I work on the phone all day at work and cannot make or answer phone calls during business hours and too talked out to make them at night - kept getting the runaround trying to find out why my monthly payment outside of the late fees has increased to double some months and by half other months. There is no consistency to it. If I am late, I pay the fee. I should not have a higher monthly payment in addition to the late fees. When I blocked the call because they hang up and call back again within a few minutes they started not only leaving messages from that number but started using other numbers as well.
