J northland called stating I owe money to a cash express deal. I heard sue and court- so I gave them my payment information and after thinking I had that bank account they said until 2009- I think I was scamed. They are scheduled to take payment on May 4th and May 15th!

I have received a call from 8776300146 stating they are with B.Northland Group. About an unpaid cash advance of 380. in Jan, 2010. Is this a scam number cause I can find Northland Group in the computer but they specifically said B. Northland at least 5 or times. In 2007 I married an abusive man and divorced hid for Domestic violence in 2008. Somehow he managed to use our joint account at that time and got a cash in advance with my signature?? Don't know how he did it. So the caller is saying they are going to take me to court and will be serving papers on me. My phone is programed to hang up on scam calls. While I was talking to this lady my phone hung up, then she called me back and it hung up again. so I tried to call back 4 times and I always got a busy signal, like it was off the hook. I just thought someone got a list of old debts and are tring to lie to collect on them cause the told me if I go to court I would have to pay 1000. plus court fees, but they would except the 380 from and no court!

Northland group keeps calling say that I owe a debt back from 2007 for a payday loan. Granted I have taken a payday loan in the past. But it was paid off last year. They said the company been trying to reach me with correspondence and thats a lie!

I got a collection notice for something I know nothing about and called and the lady asked me a few questions and then disconnected and I called back and it now says they are closed. I keep a good firm look at my Credit Reports so I know what I have. Sometimes I have confusions because my older brother and I were born on the same day three years apart and our names are spelled almost the same and our social security numbers are VERY close. This is not his account either. I think this is a scam. I have been having tons of issues. I just filed a BBB Complaint on Yahoo today too. I will just ignore this and not deal with these people. I have too many other things I am dealing with right now!

I received 2 phone calls one saying they are J. Northland group inc. they said an account from over 10yrs ago was being sent to court in which if I didn’t pay I will be summoned to court. This so called place said I took out a loan with a check from a bank that I don’t have an account with and used stubs from a job I didn’t work at. They knew my whole ss# and birth date. Am I being scammed? The real Northland group I researched is based out of Minnesota. The email I received had a New York address with a P.O box? That’s all. I just don’t want to lose my hard earned money to scammers I really hope you guys can help!

Northland group calls me 3 times a day, seems to always be around the same time, even late night, very annoying, i dont owe them or anyone anything, sounds fraudulent to me can i get some assistance!?!?!!?

This company called J. Northland group inc has been calling me saying I owe for something over 10yrs ago with a place I never heard of with a bank I never had an account with. They said they have been trying to get ahold of me but was unsuccessful which makes no sense at all since they knew my whole ss#. Please help!!! Is this a scam? So tired of the harassment.

They have called my phone at least 20 times asking for someone who is not me. They clearly have the wrong number or are harassing me to pay some debt that I do not owe. I have told them several times that they have the wrong number and to stop calling, but they do not. They know that my number is not associated with this individual, but they call me to ask me to pay the debt owed!
