I just received a phone call from a company called Transworld Systems. Tel. # 1-800-816-5569. They said I owed a bill at a hospital. They said they just wanted to verify some information. At first I said that the person they were looking for did not live here. then I called back to see if I could even get through. I called the number back to see if you could actually get through, and it did go through. I just looked up the telephone number to see if it was under the scam artists and sure enough the number is. I told them that a lot of scam artists call and they seemed to be going in the same path as all the rest. So I blocked this number from my phone. I just wanted to report them, because they did have a foreign accent which sounded so much like the rest of the con artists!

This number has called multiple family members of mine. They have called my grandmother (2) times today looking for me and i dont even know how they got her number! They have also called my boyfriend at 550am, when i called the number to find out what it was in regards to they stated it was a personal matter and then decided to tell me that it was in regards to a debt my daughter has, my daughter is 3! They've called all hours of the day for a week now. I called them back and someone answered and I told them to please stop calling me. They said they were looking for a relative of mine, and would remove me from their list. They are a debt collection agency. So you might want to check your credit report for TRANSWORLD SYSTEMS or TSI. If it's not you, they're looking for someone you know.

Hi Brittany, if you told Transworld that you don't owe this debt, they should stop calling you unless they verify the debt first. Transworld Systems cannot harass you over a debt after you've disputed it. I've helped plenty of consumers stop this type of harassment from Transworld Systems. I have been receiving multiple phone calls daily and weekly from 800-816-5569. I was told I had a balance of $864 for a Dr bill I owed from Ohio Co. Hospital. I don't dispute that I owe it. So I set up payment arrangements of a minimum of $25/month before the 30th, until the balance is met the representative agreed. But it still doesn't stop them from calling me sometimes several times per day and even late at night (which I thought was illegal). Without speaking verbatim on this subject I have repeatedly told them that I have 4 large medical debts counting themselves that I have set up on monthly payments and I don't receive calls from any of the others as long as I make my minimum agreed payment. The last time I talked to them in Jan. (I don't remember the date), but I told them that I had put a check in the mail on the 19th and even told them the ck# so they could watch for it. Before I could get off the phone the foreign representative kept trying to get me to pay the full balance due of $750, but we could settle for $600 if I paid it today. I got irate and told the guy I had already mailed a $50 payment which was more than my agreement and my balance is now $700. He then ask me to make a payment by phone so it could show for the month. I said no you should receive my payment within a day or two and I hung up. It is stressful enough to make our families monthly household payments, work full time and take care of my families needs without spending 20 mins on a phone call telling them the same thing over and over. My acct with them is: 72812249 The mailing address I have for making my payment is: P.O. Box 15609, Wilmington, DE 19850-5609 I have made 2 phone payments on 10-27-17 ($25) (date original payment arrangements set up) & 11-17-17 ($25). And the rest I have paid by check & mailed by postal service 12-15-17 ($64), 1-19-18 ($50) and today 2-9-18 ($50). I have met my agreements with them and wish they would leave me alone unless I go past the 30th without them getting a payment.

In their defense I had owed some money. However, I paid back what I owed and I'm still getting phone calls daily sometimes twice daily. I also got a text from this number. I just want them to stop calling. I don't owe money anymore.

Hi Betty, The number calling you is Transworld Systems, Inc. TSI is a third-party debt collector. Based on my experience, Transworld calls consumers a ton. The blank messages TSI leaves for you is evidence that the calls are coming from an automatic telephone dialing system. If TSI is calling you on your cell phone, you have rights under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. You also have rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
