I just received a phone call today from Unisom Inc. They called my cell phone looking for my father. My father passed away 8 months ago. He had debt, but since the only surviving family are his children- we handled whatever financial disparities he had months ago. Why are they calling me (his daughter) and also 8 months later? I/we never were contacted from them before

I keep receiving a call from a company called unison Inc. I do not know this company. I do not have any type of contract with this company. When I try to look up the company, I found your guises law firm.

I received a call from Unison just now. They claimed to be a debt collector that is trying to collect a debt that is held by Jefferson Capital. The issue is this debt is over 20 years old. Jefferson Capital has harrassed me for 2 decades over this bill. They routinely hand it over to various collection agencies that usually send things through the mail. Unison has now begun to harrass me over the phone. It is my understanding that this is a probably violation of the Rosenthal Act and the debt Collection Licensing Act. I offered an offer of compromise 20 years ago..they refused it and they did not sue.. I am tired of this harrassment. I am elderly with numerous health problems and the stress is effecting my health. Is their behavior actionable ? Please advise preferably by email as I do not always get good phone reception. Thank You

I received a call at 630am from Unison debt collectors, who had heavy Honduran accents, regarding a debt from 2019. They refused to send me proof and instead demanded money. When I told them about the law of calling before 8am and the fact that they\'re supposed to send me proof of the debt, they started threatening me. I hung up and looked them up, and found your firm.
