Threatening Messages/Harassing Calls

Customers have complained against Automotive Credit Corporation after receiving threats of repossession from its employees. These employees have, apparently, made threats just days short of due payments despite consumers having confirmed with ACC’s agents before signing into contracts that payments may be made out of the regular dates.

Some customers have also reported getting multiple calls despite requesting against it. It wasn’t until these reports were lodged with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) that Automotive Credit Corporation had acknowledged and honored the requests. Others have reported only paying days late and getting numerous calls from the company despite covid-19.

Unrepaired Vehicles 

Despite cars breaking down on owners, Automotive Credit Union has failed to have the vehicles repaired. This has led to many with no transportation while still having to pay for vehicles stuck in their homes. Other consumers stated they were not made aware of certain surcharges to their accounts upon entering into their agreements. According to statements, they were only aware of the monthly corresponding fees excluding charges like insurance.
