Hi, I am receiving calls from a collection agency threatening to garnish my pay for a collection that they state is from HSBC/Orchard Bank. I continuously inform them that I've never had any type of account with HSBC/Orchard Bank and I never comply with them with they ask me to confirm any of my personal details. The number that they call me from is 202-595-9027

Just been contacted about a legal claim filed against me, leaving only a telephone no. to call no other identification. Called that no and was told of an outstanding debt of about $4,000 with additional costs of over $2,000 if I did not pay it and went to court. I was a member of a class action against Orchard Bank back in 2012 and received a check from the attorneys office of $67.00 because Orchard Bank lost the suit!

I just got a phone call from 2092537486 saying I owe Orchard Bank over $2000. I haven't had an orchard bank card in well over 20 years. I got this same call from another company in 2016 (Williams, Williams, & Williams) stating the same thing. I paid them because I was unable to verify if I indeed owed it or not. How can they be claiming the same thing now? It does not show on my credit report. I haven't had the cards in years, and I'm not sure what I need to do. I'm not sure what you need to know!

A place called Global Financial Services called me today on behalf of Orchard Bank HSBC saying I have a credit card debt owed from 2013. They said they've been trying to contact me since then, sending mail to an address I haven't lived at since before 2013 and telling me they want me to pay it off or else I will get sued. This credit card does not show up on my credit report. They called me at work during business hours. I want to try to get a copy of the credit card statements because I don't remember this credit card at all but I have no clue how to go about doing that. If you can email me any info I would appreciate it. Thanks

I have received multiple calls from Forest Mediation one number they use is 207-956-5525. They are trying to collect from a debt from Orchard Bank HSBC and this debt was discharged in a bankruptcy last year. They read their notes and even that the debt has been discharged but threaten me with court and law suits. This debt was legally discharged. My problem is how do I get these folks to quit calling me.

Hi Robert. If a debt was discharged in a bankruptcy, debt collectors cannot continue to pursue it. If they are not aware of your bankruptcy, a letter from your bankruptcy lawyer will usually stop them. However, sometimes debt collectors will continue to contact a consumer hoping that you won't know the law or you don't want to put up a fight. They are breaking the law if they are doing this. If you'd like to talk more about your situation, feel free to reach out to my law firm. Thanks, Mike

Hi Portia. It may be that your debt was sold to another debt collector and they are attempting to collect on a debt you may owe. Have you asked them to provide you with a debt validation letter? I would start there. If you'd like to talk about this or need help getting these calls to stop, reach out to me at my office. Thanks, Mike

Hi Lisa. I would suggest that you send a registered debt validation letter request to Global Financial Services so that you can figure out what debt they may be attempting to collect on. If you'd like help with this, give me a call or email me at [email protected]. Thanks, Mike

Hi Eric. Have you asked them to provide you with a debt validation letter? They have to provide you with this once requested and you should do so via a registered letter. I can help you with this. Please give me a call. Thanks, Mike

I am being told that a judgment is going to be placed against me for an Orchid Bank master card debt. The account was opened without my knowledge by my x-wife under my social security number. I told them it wasn\'t me and that I was incarcerated for the years when that was opened and defaulted. They don\'t care are said the creditor will move forward and I have to prove it wasn\'t me? This just happened a few months ago for another Orchid bank debt they said I owed. They put a judgment against me and started garnishment. I paid the debt to have it stopped. This can\'t keep happening. I need advice.

Preston & Associates contacted me not long ago about an alleged outstanding Orchard Bank credit card debt. I have scoured my paperwork and have found nothing related to that debt -- no signed credit-card application, no approval documents, no monthly statements, and no list of transactions. Of course, Preston & Associates has provided no documentation to support its claim, other than an e-mail notice containing a debt validation letter. Now I’ve been directed to call to find out my court date. Can Agruss Law, an Illinois firm, assist me, a New York City resident, with my response to this matter?

I just received a phone call from a company representing Orchard Bank. They are claiming I owe $6k from a debt ($3k) settled over a decade ago from Household Finance. This debt they supposedly acquired must have been bought after i settled with HFC. It appeared out of nowhere whe i got a letter stating i owed Orchard. I have never had a debt with Orchard. A decade later they are trying to collect again even after I\'ve told them back them that I do not owe them. Now they want to sue and take me to civil court and get a judgment in their favor. They tried to get me to agree to make payments on thev6k or settle for $2k. I still told them I don\'t owe them, never did.

I am getting repeated telephone calls from Aquarian Asset Management making claims that I owe them for an Orchard Bank/HSBC credit card from 10-15 years ago. Their calls begin with a recording that threatens wage garnishment, lawsuits, etc. I have asked them REPEATEDLY to cease any telephone contact and send any information in writing, which of course they will not comply. I have also received other calls regarding a HSBC loan from 2008. I cannot block their numbers, because they use other numbers to continue the harassing calls. They’ve also used profanity with me, racial slurs, and other derogatory remarks.

Getting harassed by some company saying I owe money for a card and address I’ve never heard of. I told them my identity was stolen years ago. They are bothering all of my family and some friends. This is NOT ok. I don’t know what to do. I’ve told them over and over to stop.
