Hi, I'm just looking around the internet, about this company. I'm being harassed, and have a court date coming up. Even tho I have been making payments since Sept. 2017. They have accepted my payments, They wanted $125.00 a month. I told them I could only pay $ 40.00. I have a lot of health problems. And when I originally tried to handle it awhile back, they said all the money or nothing, then I did not hear from them. they kept sending the bill. But they would not work with me. Then I got a summons last year. I went right down to the court to file my answer. And I then was contacted by them. Hence the payments now, but for some reason, they are trying to take me to court again!

I have been getting negative reports on my Experian credit score because of these people since, it looks like, 2017. I have never met these people, and I have received some phonecalls from, I presume, them. I have been successfully paying down over $50k in student loans since I graduated in 2018, and my TransUnion credit score has been climbing. Yet I cannot qualify for any sort of new credit. I have been denied any new credit accounts. All because these people who I have never had anything to do with have been reporting to Experian that I owe them. I work for the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation as a Fish and Wildlife Technician. I cannot even afford to attempt to fight these bullies. I am driving a vehicle as old as my younger brother that I maintain myself because I cannot afford a newer, reliable vehicle without requiring a loan that I could never begin to qualify for. My finances have been getting attacked mercilessly by these people.

I have been paying on medical bills, my medical situation isn’t the greatest with a bad back example 3 slipped disc, pinched nerves and arthritis in my lower back. I called them trying to set up a payment arrangement but was told that I needed to do roughly 140.00-150.00 a month, when I told the receptionist that I couldn’t afford that much she said that there is nothing she could do. My credit is hurting because of 2 negative comments from them and since I payed 1 of the bills off they said that it could take 90 days to come off of my credit report. I feel that they want the money now and there is no working with anybody and when you do pay off something it takes them as much time as they want to get it off my reports.

Hi Andrew. I'm sorry you're dealing with frustrating credit issues in addition to health problems. Unfortunately, debt collectors aren't the most empathetic when it comes to getting their money. Hi Bonny. Debt collectors can be relentless when it comes to getting their money and they don't care if the consumers that they are contacting are having issues making ends meet. Fortunately, the law does help prevent some of the worst behavior and if the law isn't followed, it can mean that consumers are paid for these violations.
