ABA has contacted us on a debt that is apparently from 2002-2004 that has been sold several times and are asking for 2800 on a 1500 debt. We don\'t know anything about this debt except that it was John\'s credit card back then. We have not heard anything about this debt until Sullivan Assoc contacted us last week and now ABA contacted us today. They said they would take 1500 and pay it off. We don\'t know if we owe this or not. It\'s almost 20 years ago. Do we just pay the 1500 and move on without documents of any kind? They said the credit card is a contract that we have to pay. They said we have to pay it today. My wife pays all our bills and we have had nothing on this in the 16 years we have been together. Thanks for taking time to read this. John and Sandra Freeman

ABA called me today and said that they were going to sue me for a credit card that hasn\'t been paid on in 20 years. Wanted to set up payments. There saying I owe more than $5000

ABA mitigtions called and left a message while I was at work. I only knew this because then they precided to call not only call my Mother also my aunt that I know of, and tell them my reference number to call them back. So now not only are they letting people who know me into my information. They are given a \"stranger\" my reference number to call back and get all of my info.... They repeated my email and my social back to me without me even telling them. SEEMS very sketchy! They said it was a loan I owed on, but never told me the name of the loan, the price of the loan origianally old from 2014.

I keep receiving threatening calls from this ABA company that used third party people to call me. I\'ve not returned any calls because it appears to be bogus. I have no idea what it\'s about but they left a message about a complaint being filed.

ABA called my mother in Illinois. They told her I had a debt going to litigation. She asked them how they got her number. They said she must have been listed an emergency contact. She txt me. I called them. Same deal they were threatening me with litigation on a debt 17 years old that doesn\'t show up on my credit report. Said I now owed 4000 on an old 1100 dollar debt. Said if I make a deal I won\'t be taken to court.

I received a phone call from ABA I missed it to me being at work. They left a message with a reference number and proceeded to call my mother and my step brother not to mention anyone else that I do not know of. I called them back to see what it is all about and was told I had taken out a loan for 500 back in 2012 and I was going to be sued from 3,104.83 if I did take immediate action. I’ve never taken out a loan let alone nothing had ever appeared on my credit report. Not to mention they have all my information. My S.S Number. My Drivers license number. My address. My email. My phone number. My mother’s phone number and my step brother phone number. Not to mention they don’t ask you your information they tell you your personal information. Can’t even begin to think how many people have my information now over this.

ABA got ppl calling from document processing threaten to pursue legal actions. I don’t know even know what or why they’re calling. Today they called my Mother and left a voice mail and a reference number for to call.

I sent you the details aba collected on a returned check from 2001 I paid 282 on a 106 check on Mt discover card. Noone had tried to contact me at all for 23 years. How can this be lawful? I didn\'t even know about it til they called. I asked fir my check to be returned to me, they said it would be shredded. They said they would send me papers stating I had paid, it has been over 2 months, I have received nothing. Is this lawful to collect after 23 years abd I knew nothing about it.

I received a threatening call from ABA for a debt they said I had with Discover card from 2012 that I cannot find on my credit report. I called Discover and they said I have no outstanding or charged off account. ABA said I would be sued and have my assets frozen. They also told me that had access to all my credit cards to charge what I owed to one of them.

ABA company called me today so that I would pay $ 9, 850 today otherwise if I didn\'t pay today they would garnish my salary and freeze all my credit cards so that I would pay with, I told her that in 2014 I had filed for bankruptcy and had paid off all my credit cards and bills.
But she told me that this account had not been added to the credit card list When I filed my bankruptcy.
I am sure that this account was added because I had a lawyer who helped me go through the entire bankruptcy process.
She asked me what my address was and gave me an address that I had lived many years ago but I did not confirm my address or where I worked.
When this person was talking to me, she was very aggressive and I had to hang up the call because I didn\'t like the way she was talking to me.
Especially when I told her that English was my second language and I needed to process what she was telling me.
That\'s when I noticed that she was already more aggressive with me.

Got call saying \" There is a complaint against me here in cooper county from a ABA. I need to call THIS companies office today urgently or actions will be taken. They acted like theyre a diifferent collecting agency,...hired by a collection agency?? They even called my daughter and left a message to ME on her voice mail.
