Is AT&T harassing you over a debt? Is AT&T placing robocalls to you or sending you unsolicited text messages? You have rights under state and federal laws! We will aggressively enforce the law to stop this harassment. Not only will we stop the harassment, but you may be entitled to money damages, too. Finally, you won’t have to pay us a dime for our services. Keep reading to learn about your rights.

AT&T is an American telecommunications company, headquartered in Atlanta, GA. AT&T was founded in 1885, by Alexander Graham Bell; Ma Bell was responsible for stringing telephone wires across most of America. The company has expanded from landlines to cell phones, internet service, VoIP technology, and digital TV. AT&T sells service packages, with a fixed monthly service fee inside a long contract, and they also sell wireless phones and other devices.

What happens, though, if you find yourself in financial difficulty and you cannot pay your AT&T bill? Well, you’re not alone. If AT&T is contacting you to collect a debt, whether you owe it or not, AT&T must follow the law. AT&T has a less than positive reputation for customer service; the Better Business Bureau has fielded almost nine thousand complaints on AT&T’s billing and payments department, in the last year alone.

If AT&T has done anyone of the following, contact Mike Agruss Law, for a free case evaluation:

• Called you after you told them to stop calling you.

• Called you about a debt you do not owe.

• Continued to call you after you have told the collector you cannot pay the debt.

• Communicated (phone or letter) with you after you filed for bankruptcy.

• Communicated (phone or letter) with you after you told the collector you have a lawyer.

• Called you before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m.

• Called you at work after you told the collector you cannot receive such calls at work.

• Left you a voicemail message without saying the company’s name.

• Called third parties (family, friends, co-workers, or neighbors).

• Threatened legal action against you.

• Placed robocalls to you.

• Sent you unsolicited text messages.

If AT&T has done any of the above, you may be entitled to money damages. Plus, you won’t have to pay us a dime for our services. Founding attorney, Michael Agruss, has settled over 1,500 debt collection harassment cases. Now, we want to you help you, too. Contact Mike Agruss Law, at 888-572-0176 for a free consultation.

I recently found a withdraw from my bank account with the following phone number listed on your website, 986-403-1003. I believe this withdraw to be without my consent and knowledge. I'm contacting my bank in the morning about it but the only information I can find on the transaction is "AT&T" and the phone number. I have also seen it posted on the internet that this has happened to others as well!

Hi Tammie. You can request a debt verification to determine what the debt is for. Once you receive that letter, you can decide if the debt is legitimate, an error, or even a scam. I can help you with this--give me a call at 888 572 0176 and let's discuss this debt and your options. Thanks, Mike

• Called third parties (family, friends, co-workers, or neighbors). • Threatened legal action against you. • Sent you unsolicited text messages. They have been calling my ex husband and left a text and several voicemail to him with my name. We do have children together so he has forward them to make sure I received it but we haven\'t been together since 2013. They gave me a case number saying they will take legal action but I looked up the case number and it never came up.

In October of this year, I was approved for the ACP program, a low-income program to help with my bills which were already behind. However, I did not hear about the program until October of this year. I quickly notified AT&T about my approval. Prior to this, I spoke with an ACP representative and was told (by multiple ACP representatives after) that AT&T could backdate my balance to the start of my eligibility when I became unemployed in February of the same year, 2022. This would reduce my outstanding balance significantly and help me get my account with AT&T back to a current status. As opposed to accruing late fees and putting myself further into the negative. I was advised by the ACP representatives that this action would have to be initiated by AT&T since ACP cannot control AT&T\'s billing. Completely understandable. Several times I have tried talking to AT&T about this, but their representatives say they know nothing about it. No matter whom I ask to speak to, whether it be a supervisor or someone in billing, they always send my call straight to the ACP line (outside of their phone system) of course the ACP representatives I am transferred to tell me the same thing; AT&T needs to initiate retroactive payments for situations like mine. However, AT&T refuses to help or acknowledge this. Now my home internet is past due and they have restricted my home internet, causing endless pop-ups on my laptop. My current phone plan includes a mobile hotspot (free) and when I try to use it for internet access for job searches or trying to salvage my small business, the hotspot fails, and my browser is once again hijacked by AT&T\'s message page. At one point I watched them open at least ten pages (consecutively) in my browser (it was like a virus which my computer doesn’t have) Before this concern, they had reneged on payment arrangements already in place and attempted to charge me reconnect fees. Thankfully, my phone cannot be disconnected while I am on the ACP program, but my services (hotspot) have been disrupted numerous times. Some additional items I’ve forgotten to mention. I am qualified for the Lifeline program, and AT&T is aware. I have also emailed the FCC and FairShake. Not sure if this info is relevant. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions and thank you for your time
