Sears is an American retailing company, with over 2,600 locations in the United States, and several other major brands under its umbrella (Kmart, Craftsman, Lands End, PartsDirect, Kenmore, etc). Sears, Roebuck and Co., the original Sears stores, has a hundred years of business experience, and the brand has grown into the largest home repair service in America. Headquartered in Chicago, IL, Sears sells thousands of products for the home, as well as clothing and shoes. Sears also sells several credit cards to consumers, issued through their Financial Services; the credit cards are backed by Citigroup.

What happens, though, if you find yourself in financial difficulty and you cannot pay your Sears credit card? Well, you’re not alone. If Sears is contacting you to collect a debt, whether you owe it or not, Sears must follow the law. According to the Better Business Bureau, Sears may have some problems with consumers while collecting debt—the Better Business Bureau has processed more than five hundred billing/collection complaints in the last year alone.

If Sears has done anyone of the following, contact Mike Agruss Law, for a free case evaluation:

• Called you after you told them to stop calling you.
• Called you about a debt you do not owe.
• Continued to call you after you have told the collector you cannot pay the debt.
• Communicated (phone or letter) with you after you filed for bankruptcy.
• Communicated (phone or letter) with you after you told the collector you have a lawyer.
• Called you before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m.
• Called you at work after you told the collector you cannot receive such calls at work.
• Left you a voicemail message without saying the company’s name.
• Called third parties (family, friends, co-workers, or neighbors).
• Threatened legal action against you.
• Placed robocalls to you.
• Sent you unsolicited text messages.

If Sears has done any of the above, you may be entitled to money damages. Plus, you won’t have to pay us a dime for our services. Founding attorney, Michael Agruss, has settled over 1,500 debt collection harassment cases. Now, we want to you help you, too. Contact Mike Agruss Law, at 888-572-0176 for a free consultation.

Hello ashley, my name is akeem. Sears continously keeps calling my mom and shes up to date on her payments. Its really annoying. They even call her at work. On our home phone Yeah What info do you need. Well after she paid her sears debt they continue to harrass her. Everytime they call her telling her that she owes a certain amount she pays it then they continously call her saying that she owes another amount. If she tells them she'll pay the following week they tell her then the calls will continue. Its very frustrating. By the way if someone calls can it be tomorrow after 4pm? Charlton Tampa fla. My mom is not deliquent but sears is treating her like she is. Its very upsetting. She pays them on time and everytime. I know that theres a law protecting the consumers against robocalls. Nothing else I'll just wait for his call!
