Please do not call my place of employment anymore. It would be greatly appreciated. This is a doctor\'s office and dont have time for harrasing phone calls
Not sure why, but I am getting calls from 866-451-1216
Greetings
On November 2021, my baby was born at the Hackensack Valley hospital in NJ . I am an employee and my job offers a medical plan, which covers the costs for her first month of life, childbirth and studies that were done after her birth. The hospital made the mistake of not processing the claims to my health insurance. They sent the hospital debt to a collector in LA and I sent them a letter from my health insurance and to send me a specific description of what they are charging me, they never answered me. Now it turns out that I receive calls from another collector Medical revenue service for the same debt.
I sent them a letter to explain to me every detail of the debt and a letter from my medical plan that explains that I am covered by them and I am still waiting for them to resolve but they do nothing.
What should I do?
My insurance says I owe nothing. Steward Health Care says when I call I owe nothing. The Hospital Nashoba Valley says I owe $1000. Nashoba Valley belongs to Steward Health Care and Nashoba Valley Hospital bill comes through Steward and the message from Steward says I owe nothing on the account number Nashoba Valley is billing me.
I’m getting constant harassing calls wanting to collect money for an old hospital emergency room visit . The hospital sent me an outrageous bill that there’s no way I could be making. payments me being on SSDI . The hospital bill was almost $10,000 for putting 4 or 5 stitches in my forehead ! I have never owed a collection agency , if anything, I owe the hospital and I feel that there is some type of ethics violation on the hospital for giving the collection agency my name and phone number and who knows what else of my private information they may have shared .(HIPPA LAW). Please help stop the calls, I’m on disability for mental issues and my nerves are bad and I don’t know how much more harassment I can handle !
A bill that I thought was taken care of by financial aid was sent to Medical Revenue Service. I have asked them to provide \"proof\" of my charges to make sure I\'m not being scammed. The person on the phone was very rude to me and wouldn\'t let me speak. I pay my bills and this lady made me feel like a deadbeat.

Hi Lianne. Medical bills are frustrating, especially when you start receiving calls that are disruptive to your life. I have helped many consumers just like you to deal with these types of calls and I may be able to help you get this resolved. I will give you a call so we can discuss your possible options. Thanks, Mike
Good morning,
After an ER visit ( 5 min simple visit) bills started coming it at ridiculous amounts. I mailed my insurance company that I wanted to appeal the bills. ( Imo excessive price for putting a $3 creme in my eye)
Debt collectors keep calling. All I want is a detailed bill and proof this is a fair price ( $620 our of pocket for a 5 min visit) + I received another bill from a few hundred dollar.
They keep calling, which is harrassment. I am working and this is interfering with my job when I am with clients.
I would like to know my right. I didn't sign to pay this amount and if I was informed prior I would have not taken the treatment. I would like to see proof that I agreed to the treatment at this price..
Thank you
Lianne

Hi Gregory. You can request a debt verification letter from Medical Revenue Service if you suspect that the debt is incorrect or you just want to confirm why they could be calling. I can help you with this, give me a call to discuss how. Thanks, Mike

Hi Kimberly. It is legal for a debt collector to contact a third-party when attempting to contact you, they just cannot disclose any personal information about you and your debt. If you suspect that your rights have been violated, you could have a case against Medical Revenue Service, but I would need to speak with you to get more details. Give me a call at 888 572 0176. Thanks, Mike
#1
They would not disclosing that the call is from a debt collector. I asked repeatedly and she would not give me any information until I gave her personal information.
#2
They absolutely called a third-party. They called my husband's cell phone and asked for me. Even though the collection agency seems to know all my contact info.
Curious to know what i owe because i am on a payment plan with the hospital.

Hi Christina. I'm sure its frustrating and embarrassing to get these calls at work. I would be very upset if they kept calling after being told to cease and desist. Fortunately, the law protects you from these bothersome calls at work and you can make them stop. I can help you to do so, I will be in touch to discuss how. Thanks, Mike
I keep getting calls from Medical Revenue Services at my work place. I have asked them repeatedly to not call me at work. I work in a small office setting with some very nosey people, and this call today was broadcast through the entire office. I am humiliated, and may have to quit my job now. I want to do whatever is necessary to stop the calls.

Hi Ying. You are right that you have legal rights and you may have recourse against any debt collector that harasses you. The law protects consumers against scammers and you're right to question if any debt collector is legitimate or not. I would like to speak with you more about your situation and determine if your rights have been violated. I will be in touch. Thanks, Mike

Hi Steven. The number that is calling you is related to Medical Revenue Service. Do you have any medical debts you may owe that they could be calling about? How often are they calling? If they are calling excessively, they could be violating your rights. Let's talk more about that when I give you a call. Thanks, Mike

Hello Kay. If you're receiving calls from that number, you're likely receiving calls from Medical Revenue Service. My law firm is not associated with MRS, instead we represent consumers who are dealing with harassment from debt collectors and debt collection agencies. If you need assistance in dealing with MRS, give me a call. Thanks, Mike
Calling a business with no data for whom it is intended. Pleas remove this business from calls
Calling without any information nor shows any credibility website link up to be number
I have been making payments as recently as last week but still received a call from Account Services (866)451-1216 just now. They would not provide any information except for me to verify my information which I would not do because I do not know if they are scammers or not. The medical bill in question is still being disputed although during the dispute I still make payments from time to time. Last payment was made just last week. This is outrageous. I wish to know my legal rights and recourse against the debt collector as well as the medical institution which might have sent the balance to the debt collector.

Hi Christina. Can you send over a copy of the times that they're calling you? They are not legally allowed to call you before 8am or after 9pm and doing so can be seen as a violation of the law. I can be reached at 312-224-4695 and you can send the call log to my office at michael@agrusslawfirm.com. Let's talk and see what we can do to fix this situation. Thanks, Mike

Hi Lakin. I'd be leery of paying on something without proper documentation of what the debt is for. You have the right to request a written confirmation of what they expect you to pay on. You can also request that they stop calling you, both verbally and in writing. I can help you with all of this. Give me a call at 312-224-4695 and we can work on this together. Thanks, Mike

Hello Katlyn. I'd like to discuss the type of harassment you're experiencing. I'm going to call you and we can chat a bit about it and your rights. Thanks, Mike
Have garnished my wages and the hospital has no record of outstanding balances.
I had an accident where I cut my arm and had to get stitches. I didn’t have any insurance and had to go to the hospital. I haven’t heard anything about this for a little over two years and out of nowhere I got a call from an (866) 451-1216 Number and I answered. I was at work and walked outside and they tried to get me to pay that day. I was between paychecks and I also thought it was a scam call. After talking for a couple minutes I had to go back into work so I hung up and blocked the number. I get a bunch of scam calls a day but this was the first one where i didn’t feel comfortable and they tried to corner me. And get any money they could out of me that day. I checked my credit report and my credit score dropped over 49 points because of this. I don’t know if you can do anything but I’m just reaching out Incase.
This group called my elderly parents looking for me on their cell phone. I haven’t lived with them since 1991
This phone number, 8664511216, calls me all the time and even while I am at work.
Like all comments, they are rude and condescending. South Baldwin billed me in March 2018 for stay 12/25/18. Not one month after bill, this collection agency calls. I sent $50 check to SB not knowing ca policies. Jennifer, rudest person I have ever met, scolded me like a child for not sending it to her. My husband almost died In July so this bill was last on my mind. I sent SB a credit card payment of $100
On the original bill they sent. When nothing showed on my statement, I figured they must not want my money. Flash forward when I recently got a bill from these clowns. I paid my bill using their website on for total amount owed on 3/25. Two days after web payment they began harassing me again. I didn’t call back immediately because I knew that bill was paid in full . Finally to get Jennifer to quit contacting me, I told her straight up I paid that bill. Her response was ‘your credit card declined.’ I told her she was lying and confirmed with my bank my card had not declined. Since I am prone to high anxiety because I have MS, my husband called them with proof from my email account that my payment had processed and was received on 3/25. They denied the proof. Plus they said it’s safer to pay by phone. So why the website? My husband used my same card to pay the bill in full on 4/28. On 4/30 and still continuing, they are reporting derogatory marks on my credit report. Their daily reporting scam has dropped my credit 48 points and dropping. My credit score hovered between 730 to 770. Now it’s dropped to the mid 600s. No one in that organization is reasonable, but very argumentative and admit no wrongdoing. Do I have any recourse against these evil crooks? I have left my husband’s phone number as my nerves can not take much more. Thank you for listening. Have a nice day.
I just got a new pho. #, and it is unlisted two. How can this happen? Don't even KNOW that they are calling me!
Very aggressive voicemails left on my cell phone from this company. I do not even know of a medical debt that I haven't paid or am not currently paying. Nothing on my credit report, nothing received in the mail. I prefer email contact over cell phone as I work in an area where cellphones aren't permitted.
they call want me to tell them private information but wont tell me who they are. Then say I will mark file you are being rude and not cooperating. This is 866-451-1216.Also have 2 others call rude and nasty several times a day. Then i ask to stop calling me. They do for a couple weeks then go at it again. All over medical bills that had hospital and or dr sent me a bill I might have paid at it.Not when u turn me over to collection and effect my credit score.Other are Paragon revenue and United Collections!
They call me 3-4x daily advising they are debt collector for 60000.00 A surgery I had in 2014 and had at that time 100% insurance coverage due to illnesses incurred by myself and spouse!! I have sent them letters back with this info and telling them I had 2 insurances.....the letters and phone calls wont stop and calls are ugly when I wont verify address, ss # , etc...told them to leave me alone
Says they are from a hospital in my hometown in Newnan, Georgia and I live in Orlando, Florida and have been since 2009. Lady is rude and wants my Social Security number and birth date. I told her to stick it, when I said I'd call the hospital in Newnan, Georgia. She got an attitude and hung up. Get calls from them weekly.
This company calls me all the time and says they are collecting a debt for Flowers hospital, I have asked for a detailed bill and they tell me that don't have to provide me with that. The date they are referring to I was not even at Flowers hospital.
How can I stop them from messing with me ?
I get these phone calls on a daily. I sometimes answer thinking its someone else but other times my phone rings while I'm at work. They're super rude so I stopped answering.
this number calls 24/7 1-866-451-1216+!
