Allied started collection actions some 5 months before they were legally allowed to under the Davis-Sterling Act. Further, without EVER sending any correspondence WHICH WAS NOT RETURNED TO SENDER AS UNDELIVERABLE, they recorded a lien against my property, had already entered a Notice of Default, and then served my ex -who had not been on the property title for 10 years- as a "owner of a separate interest pointless with me; when if fact I am the only owner. Then, when I called them to find-out what in the heck was going on -seeing as how this was the first time I had heard there was any kind of a problem-Allied informed me that I was in arrears for my Homeowner's Association Assesments. I told Allied that first of all, I never got a bill. That because the post office where I had my P.O. Box HAD BEEN CLOSED BY THE Federal Government, I had not received ANYTHING at all from my HOA, the Property Management Company that handles the assesment collection for my HOA, or them, Allied. I was told they do not have to send me a bill, that all the notice they had to give was to send it out in the mail, too bad if it came back to them, they had fulfilled their legal requirements, and so now they want me to pay come 10 times the amount ALL of my assesment dues total. I paid my HOA the dues I did owe directly -or rather, I paid the Prop.Mngmt. Comp. that collects Assesments- and much to my amazement, they have now colluded with Allied to try and extort the so called "Fees" for Allieds collection services. And they have refused to Rescind the Lien which they erroneously and ILLEGALLY placed on my property! I have decided to file a lawsuit. I would be interested in your advice and possible representation

We are in collections with this dreadful Allied Trustee Serv. We were on a payment plan and we were paying but we were late with one payment and they said we were in breach and canceled our contract. It has taken nearly 5 months to get them back to the negotiating table on helping us come to an affordable monthly payment to catch up. We are in arrears an approx. $7000 with our HOA. We attempted an offer and confer with our HOA and it was sent back to Allied putting us in a worse position. Allied suggested to us in a conversation to ask for a longer payment term ie: 36 months. With no interest. They did not send us anything in writing about canceling us. We have not gotten any communication or statements from our Compass Management ( Our HOA in Monterey Ca). We have not wanted to send in payments for fear that we really don’t know where that money is going? Interest? Penalties . Compass won’t talk to us because we are in collections with them . They want $11,000 to settle or give us 24 months to pay at $1546 per. We just cant afford that right now. They just raised our dues to around $720.00 . We don’t know for sure because we are in limbo or pergetory?

I live in Charter Oak Estates, Visalia, CA. I have never received any information from Allied Trustee Services - however, today I received an invoice from Clark's Bookkeeping listing my account with you as 19-11209 with a balance of $150.00. This HOA was suspended by both FTB and CA SOS since 2010 and unable to conduct business, force collections, charge late fees, or collection fees. True, I did not pay my monthly dues March, April, and May 2019 as myself and neighbors were collecting our money to hire an attorney to bring action against the Board. They never told anyone about the suspension until Oct. 2018. I discovered on May 24, 2019 that they were finally reinstated with the CA SOS, and immediately paid my March, April, and May, 2019 dues (along with June, 2019) and the $11.50 late fee for May as I do not know which date in May the reinstatement occurred. How, why, and when did they get you involved in this without first noticing me? If there are any charges due it is to be paid by Charter Oak Estates HOA, or Clark's Bookkeeping. This is clearly harassment by both those parties, and I would hope you run a legitimate business. Thank you, Dori.

I missed notification that HOA payments were increased. Now HOA gave my debt that I willing to pay immediately to Allied Trustee. Person who talk to me twice is Matt. I requested multiple times to talk to his manager. I was willing to stay on the line and wait. Matt didn't transfer my call to the manager and was hostile about my request
