I just received a call from focus receivables agent. I took a message .... They did not know they were speaking to me. I don't know what debt they are calling about. I googled their number and found your website. I don't know how to handle the situTion. So someone not affiliated with this company would call me? I just want to make sure I am not providing focus receivables with any of my personal information. If u could wait just a couple of minutes I have to run outside to take the call. No as I said I don't know what they are calling in reference.

Focus calls my cell phone every day. I have never answered their call. I have NO past due bills, nothing in collections. However, my ailing mother is in a long term home. She has many outstanding debts; I feel I am not responsible. I don't believe they need to know her location. Thoughts on how to handle this?

Focus Receivables calls me just about daily. I filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy on 03/08/17 and they are continuing to call me.

received a call from 8002683486 11:42 am today. Person on other end of phone asked me if I was Wayne Borawski I said yes and he hung up. Did not ID as debt collector. I googled the number found out it most likely came from FOCUS Receivables. Can we sue them for harassment? that is all that happened so far I just want to know how to document a future call if they call again. Main thing is they just hung up without stating who they were and that they were a debt collection company!

I just received an email from my bank stating that my credit report has been "updated". I open up my FICO App on my phone and I see a charge from a company called Focus Receivables Mgmt. It states it's from a Cox communication account and that I owe $48 from 7 months ago but I haven't had a cox comm account in almost two years. I saved multiple receipts showing my final payment and my account closure prior to moving overseas. 7 month ago I was well into my new living situation in Japan so I'm not trying to fork up any cash that isn't valid!
