I took out a Student loan from Sallie Mae/Navient in 2004. I never finished school and I never ever made one single payment. It has been over 7 years and the information regading my student loan should be off my credit report. I have disputed this with the Exquifax and Experian and both state that Navient is reporting that I have made payments. Like I said befpre I have never ever made a payment but Sallie Mae is updating there records every year or so saying I made a payment just so (I believe) the 7years would be reset. They can not provide me with proof of any payment therefore by law this should be off my credit. Also I contacted my school and I took out a loan for a total of 17,000 yet Sallie Mae has me in default for over $40,000. Please help me!!! Also they have Loan broken up into like 5 or 6 different items on my credit report when it was only 1 loan.
