Hi April. It isn't illegal for debt collectors and telemarketers to call on Sundays, they are legally permitted to call between the hours of 8am and 9pm. I keep getting calls from a number that is going back to PayPal and I never opened a Paypal credit card but when I made a purchase some time back it was put on a credit card that I never authorized. Do I have to pay for that? When I discovered that they had done it I called them and told them I never wanted it and they cx it right away I also told them to pay the amount from my regular pay pal account but they did not do that it was only like 27.00 dollars now it is up to almost 50!

Paypal collections is harassing us. Paypal Collections has been calling several times a day. They usually hang up, but sometimes leave a message demanding that we call them back. I blocked the 8883937158 number, but sometimes they use another number. We have never had nor do we want a PayPal account!

Going through a financial hardships and very slowly beginning to recover. They have been calling for about two months, usually 6 times/day, sometimes more. Last week I answered one and had a brief conversation that I had to cut short because I was at a Dr. appointment but they continued to speak and I finally had to hang up on them. I stressed that I will begin making payments again near the end of the month. They stated that if I don't pay $3xx.00 (I don't remember the exact amount) within 3 days, they will close my account. What can be done!

I've been receiving repeat phone calls over and over while I’m at work. Can you help please? I’m receiving 10-12 calls a day from this number. I’m a private person and have no clue why or who this is. I answer and they hang up. I believe I received a fake PayPal credit card in the mail. I didn’t apply for one. The return address was misspelled and it looked really unauthentic. I cut it up. They instructed me to cut up my other one and use the new one. Although my old one was and is just fine. Thank you!

I'm typically current with my account but whenever I go even one day over my due date I immediately start getting the relentless calls. I've already received five calls today and it's only 2:30pm. Given my track record with them and the low balance of my account there is no reason for them to think I'm not going to pay and definitely no justification for the amount of calls they make. I have been receiving at least three calls per day from (888) 393-7158, beginning as early as 7 AM and happening approximately every hour and a half or so. This has been going on for weeks and the number never leaves a message. Last Saturday, I answered with the intention of asking them to stop calling me and was promptly put on hold by an automated system, whereupon I learned the calls were related to PayPal in some way, despite the fact I have not used PayPal in several years. I remained on hold for two minutes before hanging up. At this point, I logged into my PayPal account to see if I could determine what was going on but learned nothing; the PayPal website states my account is in good standing with no balance owed. I would simply block the number but my phone carrier only allows me to block up a maximum of four numbers and I've already met that cap blocking numbers that were only two or three digits different than mine that began calling constantly over the past year. I have also called the "Do Not Call List" and confirmed I am enrolled already.

I am behind by 1 month and they started calling me multiple times a day, multiple times within an hour just after a couple of weeks of 1 nonpayment. I have spoken with them and they said they won’t stop calling me as much as they are. It’s crazy how much they harass people’s over 1 month of being behind! Now they are calling me from a different number after I blocked them until I can make the payment next month.
