A massive recall of baby dressers is underway after two toddlers died in separate incidents. Bexco is recalling 18-thousand Million Dollar Baby Dressers; the recall was announced jointly with the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The baby dresser can become unsteady when a child climbs into the drawers; this is how both children died—they climbed in, the furniture fell over while they were trapped inside, and they suffocated. Million Dollar Baby Dressers were sold at JCPenney, Amazon.com, and BabiesRUs.com.

In a similar recall of children’s products, Gemme Juveniles is recalling 300 Natart Chelsea 3-Drawer Dressers; this product has had the same problem as Bexco’s. A two-year-old boy suffocated and died when the dresser fell and entrapped him, according to the CPSC.
