I've already told them several times when I get a job then I will pay it but that is not good enough for them.

Superlative RM called my father at least twice yesterday regarding a debt I had years ago. I have no idea how they got his number, he told them he was not me and that he did not want them to call again and within 15 minutes they did so. This cannot be legal for them to contact my family as well as harassing me, even after repeatedly telling them to stop. Do I have a case!

I'm being contacted by superlative rm. They will not give me any info on so called debt without getting all of my info first over the phone. I don't want to be scammed by giving my info on the phone but they will not send anything by mail. I'm wondering what I should do because if I have a debt I want it gone!

Superlative RM just called me about a debt that was with Freedom Financial 5 years ago, and was absolved. Freedom Financial has now closed services, though I completed the program. The owner died (a message indicates so on their 1-800 number). Superlative RM called to try to force me to pay back $9,000+. It was already removed from my credit report, and from my credit history because it was paid by Freedom Financial!

Superlative RM just called me for my nephew told them they had the wrong number and asked did I know him I told them he was my nephew and they stated why would he list you as a contact number. I blocked the number they called from but the guy left his information with me as in Chris Mickens 888-559-5502 but a local number showed up 816-929-8242!

They called me a month of 2 ago and were very demanding about being paid at that exact moment and said if I didn't set up a payment plan that they would come after me. I don't want my family to know about my medical debt. The hospital they were calling about never reached out to me about a debt I owed. I was bawling on the phone because I didn't have the money they wanted me to have. I set up a payment plan that is way too high for me, they were extremely demanding of me and I still have not recieved a statement from them. Can I get help!

Just got a call from superlative rm debt collectors. Very odd because they mentioned sears. I live on the east coast and sears is no where around here. Then they put me on hold and asked me ho much do I have towards the debt. I hope they aren’t doing this to people with no money. Is this lawful is my concern. I have blocked so many numbers on my phone I am not sure if the are using different numbers. I sometimes call the numbers back from work and the number is no longer in service. Today I got a call saying I was going to be arrested. That is a bit too late. Thanks a lot!

Just got a call and I returned the call. I am at work and was trying 2 explain to the rep calling from superlative rn. And he began to get loud and over talk me. I am a collector for 4 years and my company would not stand for the way he spoke to me. He wouldn't even let me ask him 2 calls back since I was working. I talked over him and asked for no further contact. That's all he really did break fdcpa laws and harassed me. I've never been spoken to in this manner!

I received a letter from superlative RM today and it is false I do not owe this debt. They are stating they work for Capital Cascades and I owe a $7900 balance and I also asked for paperwork and they couldn't provide it. The company that had the loan first is no longer in business, I have tried to contact them myself along with help from other sources and they couldn't be reached and Besides them being rude that's about all!

My husband was contacted on 2/14/2020 about arrival bill rendered 2yrs app. Not only did he have insurance but everyone had wrong addresses so we never received a bill from the original creditor. I told Superlative that I needed more information before agreeing to paying this bill. Told them as well not to call my husbands cell phone and they called again on the 27th. Spoke with them today 3/2/2020 and got the account in dispute status but was told it was only for 30 days and that I need to face the reality that the bill needs to be paid. We live in poverty and I said I could for sure do $10 a month for sure and the collection agent said he thinks that’s a joke and decided we are refusing to pay the bill.

Hi Patricia. Debt collectors seem to find anyone they can when it comes to tracking down someone, even if it is a relative. You can send them a cease and desist letter to inform them to stop calling you. I can help with that. Give me a call and we can talk about it further. Thanks, Mike

Hi Cozette. Debt collectors will use multiple phone numbers to contact consumers to force them to answer the phone. If Superlative RM is threating you with jail time but they have no court judgement against you, they are violating your rights. Please give me a call so we can discuss this. Thanks, Mike

Hi Makayla. Debt collectors cannot threaten to come after you, it is a violation of the law. I would definitely request a debt validation letter from them, in writing through a certified letter, before sending them any form of payment. If you need help with this, reach out to me. I represent consumers just like you and I cannot stand debt collectors that use harsh methods to scare people into paying. I look forward to speaking with you. Thanks, Mike

Hi LoWanda. Debt collectors will often use local numbers to have consumers pick up the phone, it is common practice. They will also seek out friends and family members of those that owe a debt to try and get into contact with the person in question. You can inform Superlative RM to stop calling you through a cease and desist letter through a certified letter. If you need assistance with this, give me a call. Thanks, Mike

Hi Cari. I would like for you to give me a call about the issues you're having with Jason Clark and Superlative RM. If your rights are being violated, you may have a case against them. You may be entitled to money damages. Get up to $1,000 for harassment, and $500-$1,500 for illegal robocalls. Under various state and federal laws, we will help you based on a fee-shift provision and/or based on a contingency fee. That means the collector pays your attorney’s fees and costs. You won’t pay us a penny. Thanks, Mike

Hi Jesse. Debt collectors are experts at finding the numbers of family and friends. If your father has informed them to stop calling, and they haven't, his rights may have been violated. Please have your father reach out to me or you can call as well. We can discuss your rights and possible outcomes. Thanks, Mike

Hello Helmut. I can understand being upset, debt collectors are not known for their friendly behavior. You can stop these calls if they are for your father and not for you. I will call you to talk about how and what you can do if they continue. Thanks, Mike

Hi Todd. Robocalls are annoying and difficult to deal with. If you have their address you can send a cease and desist letter to them and they have to stop the calls or they are violating your rights. What times are they calling you? If it is before 8am or after 9pm, they are again violating your rights. Please give me a call so we can talk about your next steps. Thanks, Mike
